Doug Borchers

Doug Borchers is President of Superior Aluminum Products in Russia. Superior Aluminum is a market leader in the manufacturing of aluminum railing, fence, and columns sold all over North America for new and remodel construction projects. Prior to joining Superior Aluminum, he spent 19 years as the Vice President of Dickman Supply, the Upper Miami Valley’s largest independent wholesale supplier, and also as Vice President of Electro Controls Inc., a custom electrical automation systems manufacturer, where he interfaced regularly with the leaders of many of this region’s manufacturing facilities, both small and large. Prior to joining Dickman Supply, Doug spent 10 years in technical sales and management positions with Eaton Corporation in Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Dayton.

Doug has served as President of both Sidney Rotary and Piqua Country Clubs, and is an officer with the Community Foundation of Shelby County. He also sits on advisory boards for both the Business School at Edison State College and in the Manufacturing Technologies Program at Upper Valley Career Center. In addition, he serves on multiple Boards of Advisors for privately-held companies through Aileron, an organization dedicated to helping business owners improve their organizations’ results.

Doug received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and MBA with a marketing concentration from The University of Dayton. He and his wife Beth chose to move back to Russia because of the family atmosphere and the highly-ranked school system that it offered their seven children, and remain very involved in those children’s activities.
