The Village of Russia is accepting bids for the rental of tillable ground owned by the village.  The ground consists of two tracts of land. 

The first tract of land is approximately 10 acres and is located on the east side of Simon Rd and north of the CSX railroad tracks.

The second tract of land is approximately 41.6 acres of tillable land located on E. Main St, it is south of the CSX railway and lies between the village water tower and the wastewater treatment plant.

The length of the contract agreements will be for three years and will commence on January 1, 2023 and expire on December 31, 2025.  Please submit your bid as a per acre proposal. Bids will be accepted at the village office until 12:00 PM on October 20th, 2022.  Bids will be opened on October 20 at 12:00 PM. Any bid received after that time will not be accepted.

On your bid please supply your name, address, which parcel you are bidding on and the amount per acre. Place your bid in a sealed envelope with Farm Ground Lease on the outside of the envelope. It can either be mailed to
